Western Oregon University is located in the rich farmland of the Willamette Valley

Bounty acknowledges this regions abundance and the history of the school that began as a site for secondary education and included botany and basket weaving in the early curriculum.

The installation includes woven copper sculptures, native plants, earthwork and local stones. Since many children live in the housing complex, the installation was designed for all ages.


Originally a secondary and trade school, basket weaving was included in the curriculum


Stones are from a local quarry. Native grasses and local plants.
